Cedar Ridge Falcon Hill Red is a Petite Pearl varietal, hand-selected from neighboring Falcon Hill Vineyards in Swisher, Iowa. Petite Pearl is a young, promising Midwest grape that yields deep garnet color with sufficient tannins and complex flavor & aroma.
Falcon Hill Red exhibits a smooth mouthfeel with rich notes of dark fruit, including both blackberries & blueberries. This medium-bodied dry red pairs well with stuffed mushrooms or Italian meatballs in red sauce.
