As most of you know by now, Cedar Ridge’s visitor center remains closed during the COVID-19 crisis. In an effort to keep our staff fully employed throughout this process, and because we have the raw materials that are needed, Cedar Ridge is busy producing and distributing hand sanitizer for as long as our inventory holds out.
We’ve partnered with the team at Eco Lips to properly produce this sanitizer. Initially, we were just giving the hand sanitizer away for free to the local community. After handing out nearly 5,000 bottles, we realized the need was far greater than we could have anticipated.
We were inundated with inquiries from businesses and organizations looking to purchase larger quantities. In response, we’ve created 1 quart, 1 gallon and 5 gallon bulk size containers. Our goal is to get hand sanitizer into the hands of people that need it most. If you know a business, retirement home, or daycare facility who needs sanitizer, please let them know.
We will continue to distribute (free) individual size hand sanitizer at Cedar Ridge, limiting quantities to one per household while supply lasts.
We sincerely thank you for your continued support during this time. We are proud to say that it is because of you, we have been able to keep our staff employed after being forced to close our visitor center. Stay strong!
