Position Summary: At Cedar Ridge, the Director of Marketing is responsible for leading the marketing and promotional strategy for Cedar Ridge’s winery, distillery, and visitor center including setting creative direction and supporting new product innovation. As part of the executive management team, this position works in tandem with production, sales, and finance to develop the brand strategy and Cedar Ridge’s regional growth plans.

The key responsibilities will be developing key go-to-market strategies for flagship whiskey products – bourbon and American Single Malt. This position leads the team that develops and sets brand communications and creative strategies across all channels.

An ideal candidate will also have 5-8 years of experience in either the alcohol and beverage or consumer packaged goods categories working directly with internal sales teams and external retail and distribution partners to set campaigns and programming. Additionally, an integrated marketing mindset and know-how to leverage different channels to build awareness, momentum, and excitement for the brand online and at retail are paramount. (A passion for whiskey doesn’t hurt either!)

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of go-to-market marketing plans; drive marketing priorities; create annual plans; and develop communication and marketing investment strategies.
  • Translate business objectives into marketing activity, including defining tactics, programs/projects, priorities, and timelines to ensure alignment with business plans.
  • Review current marketing trends and advertisements to determine the effectiveness of different styles and strategies.
  • Analyze sales numbers in comparison to the marketing budget in order to find the profit margin and which campaigns were most effective.
  • Oversee the development of content strategy supporting both Cedar Ridge and spirits brands from internal team and agency partners.
  • Serve as PR lead for multiple product lines within our award-winning portfolio and company spokesperson.
  • Work with both sales to develop successful strategies and campaigns that attract new customers and keep current clients.
  • Develop marketing strategies for new products or services that comply with current company standards.
  • Research competitors to stay current with similar products or services on the market.
  • Collaborate with other executives to make high-level decisions regarding the budget and the direction of the company.
  • Create and maintain a successful brand and image that attracts customers to the product or service.
  • Manage relationships with advertising, print vendors, and agency partners as requested.



  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years in go-to-market, retail, brand management, or marketing; including 2-4 years of supervising and leading a team.
  • Demonstrated success in developing product-led marketing strategies and leading execution of these strategies through a go-to-market process.
  • Consistent track record of exceptional performance, having delivered quantifiable impact on company revenue.
  • Innovation and creativity to create brand new strategies that attract customers and succeed over the competition.
  • Strong media relations experience with a sophisticated understanding of social media.
  • Ability to lead groups and be decisive.
  • Collaborative skills to accept and incorporate ideas into strategies.
  • Time management and organization in order to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to recognize trends and stay ahead of them.
  •  Proficient with analysis and design software.

Kitchen Manager

Position Summary: Cedar Ridge is seeking a hard-working, and enthusiastic individual to join our growing Hospitality Team as our Kitchen Manager. From our food and drink to our team members we aim to provide our guests with an Authentic by Nature experience when they visit Cedar Ridge.

At Cedar Ridge, the Kitchen Manager assist the Executive Chef and will be responsible for daily kitchen duties related to lunch and dinner service, Sunday brunch, as well as assisting with banquets/ events when needed.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Oversees daily prep lists, service standards, and Standard Operating Procedures of the kitchen operations.
  • Hold staff accountable for maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen.
  • Assist with new hires and ongoing training of kitchen staff.
  • Communicate the appropriate numbers of kitchen staff for each shift.
  • Participates in employee evaluations and necessary disciplinary actions.
  • Assist in developing menus based on customer preferences and food cost needs.
  • Place food orders as needed.
  • Should be able to assist kitchen and FOH staff with questions regarding menu items and Cedar Ridge systems & procedures.
  • Ensures that all standards of safety are strictly observed.
  • Maintains kitchen equipment.
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs regularly.
  • Assists in banquets/events when necessary.
  • Ensures that all Cedar Ridge Standard Operating Procedures are strictly observed.
  • Monitors the quality of menu items.
  • Evaluates guest satisfaction.
  • Looks for ways to save the facility money while still providing top-quality products and services for guests.

Required Hours: 40-50 weekly

Compensation: $45,000 – $50,000

Cedar Ridge is seeking hard-working, and enthusiastic individuals to join our growing Hospitality Team as part of our Kitchen Staff. Learn the art of making wood-fired pizzas in our brick oven, grow your skills supporting our banquets and private events, and tap into your passion for culinary arts as an important member of our team.  

No previous kitchen experience is necessary, but a passion to learn (and eat) helps.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assists in maintaining daily preparation and delivery of Cedar Ridge menu items
  • Maintains a clean kitchen environment during and at the close of a shift
  • Assists in banquets/events when necessary
  • Eagerness to learn more about food preparation and the culinary arts 
  • Reliable transportation
  • Must be able to lift at least 25lbs regularly
