    Friday Night Live Music

    6-9pm

    Dogs on Skis

Dogs on Skis formed in the mid 1980’s playing covers of classic rock.  The band gained popularity in and around Iowa City/Cedar Rapids by focusing on playing songs that people liked to dance to.  From the beginning, focus was put on the band’s ability to perform material with vocal harmonies.  Those large outdoor shows were one of the main reasons their popularity grew in the early 90’s and that trend continues today with the advent of wineries and breweries featuring live outside music during the warmer months.   Over the years, the band continued to grow and mature. Instead of becoming complacent and content with where they were, they continually overhaul their 4 hour set of material based on crowd reaction and requests. Because of this, they can perform literally hundreds of songs and can play many of them as requested.

No cover charge.  Food and wine menu will be available for purchase.

Harvest Music with Billy Heller & Grape Stomp

    2-5pm

    Billy Heller

"He has this supernatural ability to channel the voices of them all. Dubbed the 'Rich Little of Singers' he can readily adapt to any audience or genre.  Everyone likes the classic rock and roll, and for those eccentric fans he sings truly bizarre things like commercials and theme songs.  To call him a singer is an injustice, Billy is an entertainer.  While it’s easy to focus on the incredible vocals, Bill’s real passion is for the guitar which he’s been mastering since the Beatles broke up. A recorder morphs him into an instant 5-piece band and an acoustic guitar he admits to “muscling up” for a bigger sound. Billy loves the music and the music loves him right back. Besides the uncanny voices and amazing riffs from his super-hero Willy Porter, his greatest strength lies in his ability to connect to an audience."  L. Zahren

    Brook Hoover's Rockabilly Throwdown

Hi this is Brook, I've been performing, recording, practicing and teaching about every darn day since 1974 and I love it! I play in The Flamin Camaros, The Surf Zombies, IMPACT and sit in with a few bands now and then. I also run a studio and teach guitar. I put together a one man act in 2012 and have been really busy playing a ton of shows ever since. I use some great drummers to lay down basic tracks with me in the studio then add bass, acoustic guitar and few electrics, baritone, slide etc. Then I add some back up vocals and mix it down and use this as my band when I perform! It's kinda cheating, but who cares? Actually I care a lot! About every song, every note, every guitar part and I work hard to bring a fun show to the people.
